boo’s are basically mario ghosts the only thing that will kill them is a light. so basically boo’s can hold either coins or keys. speaking of boo’s you can get this mushroom that turns you into a boo except with a moustache and a mario hat.

so boo’s can stop mario form being boo mario. the other way to stop boo mario from being boo mario is for boo mario to go into light.
